Ladera Equestrian Inc. is a family owned and operated property situated on 41 beautiful acres of rolling hills and protected forest in Caledon East. We are conveniently located to most major Ontario horse shows, including 15 minutes from the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park.

 

We have been heavily involved in horses for over 20 years, and have experience in breeding, training and competing in hunter/jumper/equitation. As a junior rider, head trainer Maya Polson was a regular fixture in the show ring, focusing primarily in jumpers. A gap year between high school and university gave Maya invaluable experience working full time with both young horses and seasoned show horses. While attending Wilfrid Laurier University for business, Maya showed various mounts during the summer, but the main focus for the family became the breeding of our mare, Onlybanta, and the subsequent raising and training of her two daughters, including participation in the yearly KWPN inspections.

 

With the purchase of the farm in 2014, it has allowed Maya to continue working with her personal horses full time, as well as build a wonderful client base with diverse needs. We look forward to what the future holds!
